American Concrete Institute Student Chapter at UD

The purpose of the Student Chapter shall be to encourage student interest in the study of concrete and to develop an awareness of American Concrete Institute (ACI), ACI chapters, and consensus procedures by which ACI operates. We compete in a regional reinforced beam competition every year that involves design a concrete mix and creating the orientation for the beam itself. Also, every fall the national organization holds national competitions for universities around the country to compete in concrete related competitions.
