College Democrats

 

 

The College Democrats are a Registered Student Organization at the University of Delaware. The group was founded at UD in 1978 and serves as an affiliate chapter of the national College Democrats of America.

We meet on Thursdays from 6:45-7:45pm in Gore 117. Please visit our social media (@udeldems for instagram) and join the roster for updated meeting and event information.

 

At our meetings, Delaware's United States senators and representatives, state legislators, statewide and local officials, activists, Democratic party staff, candidates, policy experts, and others are guest speakers. We discuss issues in the news and of other interest. We organize events, such as the May 2022 Pro-Choice Rally on the Green, co-hosted with other organizations. We connect students with campaign and career opportunities and outside events.
