Orthotics and Prosthetics Club
About
The objective of this club shall be to unite all students interested in pursuing a career in prosthetics and orthotics, namely research or clinical work. This will be accomplished by holding biweekly meetings to discuss current events in the field, listen to guest speakers, and volunteer in labs on campus. The goal is to inspire and provoke students to think critically about the problems in modern prosthetics and orthotics and brainstorm possible solutions to these problems through group discussions and projects. This club will assist students after graduation by providing mentoring relationships for students in interdisciplinary majors, networking opportunities with professionals, and hands-on applications in this field.
