About
SPS is a national level organization that aims to support and connect anyone who loves physics and astronomy, regardless of what they’re majoring in. We are a community of students who explore physics outside the classroom by means of group study, mentoring, faculty-guided research, scheduled speakers, and other various activities. By joining SPS, you’ll:
-Get to meet other students who share your same passions
-Learn about career and graduate school opportunities in physics
-Learn about physics research and how to get involved
-Gain access to SPS resources like help with classes and textbooks
-Connect with upperclassmen who can show you the ropes
We have biweekly meetings where we get to talk and have fun events like physics presentations, movie nights, game nights, and so much more!
